Description:
1st May has always been special in the history of St. Francis convent school as it witnesses the joint celebration of institute Day and Labour Day. On this day we commemorate the most venerable Rev. Mother Seraphina the founders of CFMSS. The day was celebrated with exuberance and gaiety. To mark the occasion, a meaningful programme was put up after the Morning Prayer. As music is considered a powerful means of expressing emotions so the students presented a melodious song in praise of Rev. Mother Seraphina. Prachi verma highlighted the significance of ‘Institute Day’ in her speech. The students once again reminded us all about the priceless contribution of Mother Seraphina in various fields through a short skit.
On the occasion of Labour Day, a felicitation programme was held to honour the supporting staff for their selfless and dedicated service. One of the students, Prachi Goyal, on behalf of all the students extended her heartfelt gratitude towards the helping staff. A short skit and a scintillating dance performance by the students highlighting the dedication and hardwork of workers were admired by all. The supporting staff was presented with a garland and token of love by the students. The programme concluded with few words of gratitude by one of the helping staff, Lokesh bhayia.
