Description: The essence of Christmas lies in spreading guidance, sharing happiness and cherishing the gift of life. We at St. Francis' gathered to celebrate one of the most joyous occasions of the year- Christmas, with hearts full of joy and gratitude. The entire week was filled with activities in which students participated & showcased their talent in events such as live crib making, decorating the Christmas tree, carol singing etc. Father Paul Thanical, the former Principal of St. Peter's College, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The day started with a melodious song and prayer dance. The assembly witnessed the beautiful nativity play depicting the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The arrival of Santa added extra charm to the occasion. Joyful dances and rhythmic carols attuned to the remarkability of the day. It was a mesmerizing day filled with the joy and glory of the Lord.

St. Francis Convent School is a branch of the Institute of the Franciscan Clarist Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament. The Institute, a religious society was founded by venerable Mother Seraphina, a great educationist, in Italy. The aim of the society is to educate the youth and care for the destitute. The school was opened on 14 January 1957, with five tiny children, on the convent verandah. As days passed by, the request for admission was so great that accommodation became a problem. Hence, on 10 October 1961 the foundation stone was laid for the school building. In the foundation year the K.G. Section became a co-educational primary school. In 1977, Class VI was added.
