The Institute Day, a significant occasion dedicated to the, vision, values and life of our foundress Mother Seraphina was joyfully celebrated at St. Francis Convent School, Wazirpura.
The celebration began with inter-house competitions held on 29th & 30th April, where students enthusiastically participated in a variety of events such as art, poem recitation, narrative presentation, and creative writing. These activities showcased the creativity, confidence, and teamwork of the students while echoing the ideals inspired by Mother Seraphina.
The main celebration held on 2nd May, with a graceful prayer dance, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. This was followed by an inspiring speech on Mother Seraphina, highlighting her journey of faith, sacrifice, and her deep commitment to education and service. A meaningful skit based on her life was presented by the students, portraying her dedication, strength, and mission to uplift society.
We were deeply honoured by the gracious presence of Sr. Angel, under whose guidance the Badge Pinning Ceremony was conducted, where student leaders were formally entrusted with their responsibilities. The ceremony symbolized leadership, accountability, and a commitment to uphold the values of the institution. The badges for the teachers were pinned by Sr. Angel, while the student leaders were conferred their badges by the Seraphinian Cell teachers.
The Institute Day celebration was a heartfelt tribute to Mother Seraphina and a reflection of the unity, dedication, and spirit of our school. It inspired all to carry forward her legacy with faith, humility, and a willingness to serve others.
