The Independence Day celebration at St. Francis’ Convent School was conducted with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The program began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Ms. Himani Bandele, who was escorted with the melodious tunes of the school band, in the presence of the school management, teachers and students. This was followed by a soulful Prayer Song invoking blessings for the nation. The Flag Hoisting and March Past filled the atmosphere with pride as students saluted the Tricolour. The Chief Guest then delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to uphold the values of freedom. A melodious Patriotic Song was presented, followed by a thought-provoking Independence Day Speech by a student. The cultural segment included a heartfelt Kavita Paath, a captivating Dance Drama by the students of classes 1 and 2, and an energetic Group Dance showcasing the spirit of unity and love for the country. The celebration concluded with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, and spectators for making the day memorable.
